Prisma, 2022 'City Slow Motion' series by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils has to be one of the most AMAZING, thought provoking exhibitions I've seen, worth a flight to Lisbon! On at the Maat - museum of art in Belem.

'Prismatic is a monumental installation comprising of a labyrinth like composition of slow motion video footage recorded in a variety of cities across the globe. Manipulating & distorting space, scale & light, it is a construction built for immersion, creating an atmosphere that arouses a wide spectrum of reactions & feelings & underlines the complexity of human existence within globalized urban contexts.'
Footage was captured before the pandemic, maybe we are all meant to slow down.... The curved screens are mirrored on the back which adds to the whole experience.... Nothing is quite what it seems...
